Bailey - Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, September 1888-December 1888

About the Project

What was the composition of the wildlife in the Intermountain West of the United States in the late 1880's? What were the weather conditions it faced? Chief naturalist Vernon Bailey traveled to canyons and mountain passes along the Wasatch Range and further south in his work with the United States Biological Survey. Bailey records a wide range of details as his work took him to places like Provo Canyon and its Bridal Veil Falls. Join other volunteers in this transcription project.
