Proceedings of the Board of Regents Meeting held on September 20, 1982

About the Project

By the spring of 1980, the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum had been open to the public for six years. However, other strategic building projects were already in the planning stages or beyond. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Museum Support Center was scheduled for later that year. These new projects and other matters were the focus of the Board of Regents at their meeting on May 5th. Join us in transcribing these minutes of the Regents’ meeting to learn more and make detailed searching possible for researchers and the public alike.
