Program for boxing match between Tony Doyle and Joe Frazier

About the Project

Hockey and basketball championships have just ended, baseball season is in full swing, and football season is right around the corner. But let’s not forget about the sport of boxing! Boxing came to the United States from England in the late 1700s and took root in many large cities such as Boston and New York. By the 20th century America was the center of professional boxing, which reached its golden era in the 1960s and 1970s. This period of time featured talented boxers such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman. It’s time to toss your hat into the ring and take on the challenge of transcribing four boxing programs from some of Joe Frazier’s matches!
