Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney's Diary, Vol. II, 1895-1896

Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney (1875-1942) was a sculptor, art patron, writer, and the founder of the Whitney Museum of Art. She began keeping diaries as a child, and maintained the habit into her adulthood. Whitney wrote this diary from 1895-1896.
