Ann Carroll hosted a series of 2 1/2 minute programs that were broadcast around the United States and overseas. The set of four broadcasts known as Edition 26 include discussions of Afro-American folk culture, ancient Swedish rock carvings, photography and solving crimes with the FBI.
Smithsonian Galaxy, a series of 2 1/2-minute radio features about the work of the Institution's curatorial, scientific, and research staffs, began production in 1978. The program was broadcast throughout the United States and overseas.
