Proceedings of the Board of Regents Meeting held on September 17, 1990
About the Project
Another museum on the National Mall? The U.S. Congress had passed legislation authorizing the development of a National Museum of the American Indian, but with the condition that the one third of the funds come from private funds, a public-private partnership. This could not move forward without the Board of Regents approval. Join with other volunteers to help us transcribe their meeting minutes from the fall of 1990 to learn what Secretary Adams proposed and their decision, amongst many other topics.
