Martin H. Moynihan - observations of monkeys in Panama and Colombia, 1964-1970

About the Project

This batch of Martin Moynihan's field notes take us to Central and South America in the 1960s, beginning in Puerto Armuelles, on the extreme southwestern coast of Panama, and picking up in the Rio Rumiyaco basin along the Ecuador-Colombia border. Moynihan's observations on various species of monkeys include gorgeously rendered sketches with his narrative descriptions and lists of observed species.
