Edward William Nelson - Alaska, July - September 1920, Volume 3

About the Project

In this third volume recording Nelson's 1920 visit to Alaska, a pattern appears to emerge from his notes—a group of locals organize and accompany him on a focused expedition to a particular locale, and Nelson records local happenings and natural phenomena. At the beginning of this volume, Nelson travels onto the Kenai Peninsula, occupied by a settlement of the same name, and records information about bears and bear sightings. Help make this record accessible online with your fellow volunpeers!
