This set of field notes was made by Martin Moynihan (1952-1996) between November 3, 1957-May 15, 1963. The pages document the behaviors and physical appearances of Cyanerpes (Honeycreepers); of groups and individual birds and their bird songs. In the notes, Moynihan highlights the text along the left hand margin to indicate which bird is being described. Descriptions include sex, colors of plumage, and size and often include illustrations.
