The Tiliaceae Family - complete

About the Project

Come help us create digital records for the United States National Herbarium (US)! Please join us in our effort to transcribe the US Specimens of the Tiliaceae Family. The Tiliaceae is not recognized by the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group II (APG II) system, but the US Herbarium still divides this group as a distinct family. The Tiliaceae are trees, shrubs, or rarely herbs comprising about 50 genera and 450 species. The group also known by the more popular moniker, the Basswood or Lindens. Please contact Sylvia Orli, Department of Botany, for any questions or comments about the transcriptions.
