Join us in transcribing the Dalbergia, a genus of small trees and shrubs from the Fabaceae, or Pea, family. The most famous of these are the rosewoods, so-named because of the smell, but several other valuable woods are yielded by the genus. Dalbergia is used to make musical instruments and furniture.
