The Bumblebee Project - SET 69

About the Project

The United States National Entomological Collection includes hundreds of thousands of specimens - plus valuable data for understanding how the world around us has changed over time. As part of Worldwide Engagement to Digitize Biocollections (WeDigBio), we are focusing on transcribing the labels of specimens of those very important pollinators: bumblebees. We have 11,048 bombus specimens and labels to transcribe and review. Learn how to transcribe this project and get started now. This set contains locality information and placenames that have changed since the specimens were collected; check and add to this spreadsheet if you cannot find the location in Geonames. Bees are not optional - choose to make the data more useful with WeDigBio!
