Croton Aplenty! - complete

About the Project

Join us in transcribing the Croton, an extensive flowering genus fom the Euphorbiaceae, or Spurge, family. The US Herbarium holds many Croton specimens, and so we will be presenting several sets of these interesting plants. According to Wikipedia, "Croton" comes from the Greek kroton, which means "tick" and refers to the shape of the seeds of certain species. Please contact Sylvia Orli, Department of Botany, for any questions or comments about the transcriptions.
