Join us in transcribing the Croton, an extensive flowering genus fom the Euphorbiaceae, or Spurge, family. The US Herbarium holds many Croton specimens, and so we will be presenting several sets of these interesting plants. According to Wikipedia, Croton has been used as an herbal medicine both for constipation and as a purgative, and yet also holds much potential as a biofuel. Go figure. Please contact Sylvia Orli, Department of Botany, for any questions or comments about the transcriptions.
