David Crockett Graham - Diary, January to September, 1924

About the Project

Through more than a decade in China, naturalist David Crockett Graham kept daily diaries of his work collecting mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and other specimens for the United States National Museum. This diary covers the majority of 1924 when Graham was in the vicinity of Suifu (currently Yibin) and includes his summer expedition to Songpan and the Yellow Dragon Gorge. Join us and other digital volunteers in transcribing this typescript of his diary. The handwritten version can be seen here.
