Having difficulty determining the species name due to the lightness of the pencil and the tight cursive. The field identification runs to Turritella [mariana?] var [sespensis?] and I assume that "variety" was moved to Pecten later, but I can't determine the spelling of the species epithet. Second transcriber here -- I believe it says "Turritella ineziana var. sespeensis" and "Pecten sespeensis." I'm basing this information off Kew's published report of his findings here: https://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/0753/report.pdf.
