The type of this species (belonging to the museum) was for a long time unique, and the acquisition of additional specimens is, therefore, of extreme interest. (Purchased); One mounted Wurdemann's Heron ([[underlined]] Ardea wurdemanni [[/underlined]]), from Cape Sable, Florida. (Purchased); One fine specimen of the [[underlined]] "Great White Heron" (Ardea occidentalis) [[/underlined]] from - ^[[southern]] Florida. ^[[(Purchased)]] [[underlined]] F. Stephens. [[/underlined]] San Bernardino, Cal.- 33 specimens, 21 species, from Arizona, Colorado, and California. This collection consists mostly of rare birds, excellently prepared, and all special desiderata of the museum. (Purchased); 1 specimen of [[underlined]] Junco cinereus palliatus [[/underlined]] from Arizona. [[underlined]] James Bell, [[/underlined]] Gainesville, Florida.- One fresh skin of Wild Turkey ([[underlined]] Meleagris gallopavo [[/underlined]]).
