Discussed possible organization of committee- led into discussion of projects- Dr. S. described background of each person to attend- Looks necessary to fit organization to personnel Afternoon worked on fileing system and wrote Proj specs on Terminal approach system, Instrument Flight Training and Air Force Effectiveness, Finished 9:30 pm. 13[[underline]]th[[/underline]] March 45 Conf. w. Dr. Stratton- He feels "Effectiveness" is probably most important present project- Warns on getting dope on 8th AF methods before proceding on Let down procedure. Feels should get started on training one Should develop means for displaying or presenting the results of our work. Could introduce Showmanship- Worked on filing System for ANTC. Visited Lt Col. Cochran in OC+R- He seems alert and interested in problem- Memo out setting up "All Weather Section" of OC+R. Says Col. Peasley and himself are going to be assigned to it. Will [[strikethrough]] probab [[/strikethrough]] be authorized total of 4 officers and no other duties.
