[[for drawn and described]] [[Description of the specimen on pg. 48/ original blue pg. 23]] Body broadly oval posteriorly, the sides of the notaeum being folded forward anteriorly [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] thus forming a [[original grammar error]] thick horn like projections and having five heavy horn like humps on its back. Dorsally of uniform vinaceous color, with small black reticulating lines enclosing [[previous word underneath making the word nearly illegible]] area, the center of which is marked with a black dot. Notaeum [[insertion]] rather leathery [[/insertion]] broadly oval posteriorly where it gradually passes into a thin edge, medially decidely [[misspell and "e" is obscured by "l"]] elevated, bearing five strong horns [[insertion]] which are slightly flattened on its summit and [[/insertion]] arranged about equally distant forming a square with the strongest one in the middle. The two posterior ones being next in size. Anteriorly the two sides of the notaeum are folded forward into a rather elevated siphon - No rhinophores or branchia visible on the notaeum, its entire surface broken up into reticulations by fine impressed black lines with the space enclosed by them elevated into low papillae bearing one or more black spots. [[?]] upper surface of uniform vinaceous color. The head of the animal projects considerably beyond the base of the folded notaeum and splits anteriorly into the two slender tentacles which bear [[insertion]] the [[/insertion]] rather conspicuous eye at their outer base. The head and base of the tentacles are fawn colored the rest of the tentacles are white Hyponotaeum [[insertion]] broadly projecting [[/insertion]] smooth [[,]] of pale vinaceous color with a few long [[?]] brownish streaks. Epipodium moderately elevated flesh colored with a tinge of fawn color on the edge of its foot. Foot [[?]] broadly rounded anteriorly with a slight [[insertion]] hook like [[/insertion]] expansion expansion [[original error]] at the anterior [[?]] margin, narrowing gradually posteriorly into a [[insertion]] well [[/insertion]] rounded termination a wrinkling of the membrane on its middle just back of its anterior end gives this its appearance of an elongate oval brownish spot.
