Transcription
Sell Colonization tickets Sufficient to pay for the land & the Expenses of Surveying &c and divide the land up into Say 20. & 50. acre farms, distributing the farms by a regular Sistem to the ticket holders. I think Sufficient funds can in this way be drawn from Charitable Societies & charitable persons & other to pay for about 10000 acres of these lands, the whole of which would pass into the hands of the Freed men and have a life long Blessing to them and their children and be no Expense to the Government you Know I have buildings enough on mine to furnish each farm with a house.
