1867 Thomasville, N. Ca. S54 April 29th 1867 Thomas, Jerry States that a Solomon Burton has a disposition to defraud him; that according to their contract, ΒΌ of the crop would be his share, but from a crop of 363 bushels of Corn, 40 Bushels of Potatoes & 50 gallons Molasses he has received but 30 bushels of Corn and 3 bushels of Potatoes. Headquarters, 2 Mil. Distr. May 6. 1867. Respectfully referred to Bvt Maj. Gen. Miles Asst Commissioner of Bureau F.R. & A.L. By Command of Maj. Genl. Danl. E. Sickles Alexander Moore A.D.C. EB.
