[[preprinted]] Saturday, May 23, 1931 [[line]] [[/preprinted]] worked C. F. sold his hogs I went to E. L. in P.M. came back helped load hogs and did chores. Went to Alumni had a good time, W. H. Carey was there, Venus & I out of class of 1921 [[vertically on left margin - $45.77]] [[preprinted]] Sunday, May 24 [[line]] [[/preprinted]] Went to Cliffords for dinner. Heard about Aunt Rosa operation not getting along so good I guess. Am quite anxious about her. Went up home and out to [Dads?] in Eve. [[preprinted]] Monday, May 25, 1931 [[line]] [[/preprinted]] Washed and went up home then to town went to Hospital But did not get to see Aunt R nurse said she was very sick. Boys came up Dad came home glad to see him. [[preprinted]] Tuesday, May 26 [[line]] [[/preprinted]] Mother and I went to Grandmas. Helped her a little. Uncle Frank is quite discouraged I guess altho she is better the Dr. says. Went to E. L. and [[Reaves?]] for plants
