Hattie could not be with us as she was with her new boy. I served Candy & apples Then when the others left I served hot pork sandwiches, pickles and coffee to Mrs Harris, Eve [[?]] her sister Sarah and myself. They left at 1:48 I could not sleep. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] Friday, January 3, 1941 3rd Day - 362 Days to Follow [[double line]] [[/preprinted]] Did not do a whole lot of any thing Clarence helped Mr Jones butcher the Carne in about 3.00 Then we went after the kids. Clarence and I went to Officers conference The kids had a whale of a time
