Mr. Costin called and said we could have 20 or 25 lbs of beef. Did not go in to town. [[preprinted]] Sunday, January 24, 1943 24th Day-341 Days to Follow [[/preprinted]] Foggy. Rather a quiet day Peg & I went to See Andy Hardys Double Life Brought Jackson girls home Want to go down home this Eve. Did not as we had to catch the chickens. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] Monday, January 25, 1943 25th Day-340 Days to Follow [[double line]] [[/preprinted]] Malcolm 11 Days Washed had a good if wanted to wash blankets when the sun shines. Am keeping Malcolm today. getting some meat from Harry Costins tonight. got 33 lbs @.20 Its nice too. Must send out Ins. $5.20
