Got rent Paid Deiner at last Paid Chuck 6.00 Bal $12.13. Got new spark plugs for Plymouth Went to party at Jenkins nice time. [[preprinted]] Sunday, January 31, 1943 31st Day-334 Days to Follow [[/preprinted]] Pretty day. CF. breaking the Sabbath by getting some much needed corn. was home all day. Tried to take a nap but the kids would not let me. We all went to see "Stand By for action". [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] Monday, February 1, 1943 32nd Day-333 Days to Follow [[double line]] [[/preprinted]] Cold Have Malcolm. Am not washing as Clarence did not have time to Change his overalls May go down home tomorrow as I will not have Malcolm as Harold is sick and Helen is over there.
