We called about baling. I got my wave then we almost baled a field for Emery. Would have finished but he broke his rake. We went to Grange. Had a nice time. First time for many years I have not had to do anything. [[end page]] [[start page]] [[preprinted]] WEDNESDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 267th Day Day of Atonement 98 Days to come [[double line]] [[/preprinted]] We baled at Merediths got all finished but the backswathe we went to council Had a grand time at Reukerts She served angelfood cake whipped cream and strawberry jam. Sang Happy Birthday to Ruth Cordery. Her birthday the 25th.
