Prayer was offered by brother R. C [[rest of name cut off by end of page]] on motion of R.C. Moss the society ceeded to Elect new officers: The following are the chosen, -and ed officers, Prest. R.C. Moss. V.P. Charles Clark. Sec. Ferd. G. Hall. Treas. H.V. Plummer. Chap. Rich'd Jackson. [[underline]] Mar. [[/underline]] Willington Redd. $1,00 The applications of Miss Rutha Tho[[...]] 1,00 & Miss Pennie Dozier ^[[ {for membership} ]] was presented received. H.V. Plummer. Roll called, Prest. R.C. Moss V.P. Charles Clark p Sec. Ferd. G. Hall. p Treas. Henry V. Plummer p. Chap. Rich'd Jackson a Mar. Willing'tn Redd. p The minutes of the preceeding meeting was read, and adopted. The chairman then call^[[e]]d for a report [[strikethrough]] from [[/strikethrough]] of Treasurer, which was complyed with: no money in bank, having been drawn by order of the board of Directors on account of liability of Bankruptcy; The entire amount Two hundred, and Thirteen Dollars, and Thirteen cents ($213,13) In hands of the Treasurer up to date. Receips of the evening, $45,15 making a total of $258,28. On motion of H.V. Plummer, the Association adopted the following rules. 1st all delinqents of this organization, who are in arrears four months shall be excluded of the right of aid from The Treasure of this society. 2nd Any member of this body owing the sum of three Dollars will be liable to expulsion The chairman then called for applications $1,00 Application of ^[[Mr]] Wm. Davis was presented, and recd 1,00 Application of ^[[Mrs]] Annie Davis was presented, and recd. 1,00 Application of Miss Jennie Willis was presented, and recd.
