Upon their arrival, which may perhaps be before you get this letter, we desire to receive the best bids you can procure. We rather anticipate selling some goods in your market at thirty days time, which perhaps will assist in moving quantities more freely, but we will not approve of this being done in any case, or under any circumstances, unless the name of the purchaser is submitted to us in the cable giving the bid. There is no change in the Cotton goods market here, prices still remain very firm, and whatever the future may be, it is certain that no goods for delivery the balance of the year, can be purchased in this market, except at very high prices.
