In accordance instructions from the Commissioner B.R.F. & A.L. the following named officers and agents are relieved from duty with B.R.F. & A.L.. They will remain at the places where they have been stationed, until further orders. Capt. [[underlined]] F. A. Seely, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Vols. (Bvt. Maj. Vols.) Capt. [[underlined]] I. A. Rosekrans, [[/underlined]] C.S. Vols. Capt. [[underlined]] J. C. Mann, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Vols. (Bvt. Maj. Vols.) Capt. [[underlined]] Chas. J. Wickersham, [[/underlined]] A.A.G. Vols. (Bvt. Maj. Vols.) Chaplain [[underlined]] Geo. O. Glavis [[/underlined]] U.S.A. [[underlined]] Horace James [[/underlined]] II. The following named officers will at once turn over all funds belonging to the Bureau R.F. & A.L. in their possession to Col. Capt. [[underlined]] M.C. Garber, [[/underlined]] Chf. Qr. Mr. Capt. [[underlined]] J. C. Mann, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Vols. (Bvt. Maj. Vols.) Capt. [[underlined]] Thos. P. Johnston, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Vols. (Bvt. Maj. Vols.) III. The following named officers will at once turn over to Capt. [[underlined]] Thos. P. Johnston, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Vols. (Bvt. Maj. Vols.) all buildings and lands for which they are responsible giving proper invoices and taking proper receipts for the same. They will also turn over to the nearest Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent all clothing and other property kept on hand for the use of the Bureau, and for which they are responsible, at their respective stations, giving proper invoices and taking proper receipts for the same. Brady, [[/underlined]] V.R.C. (Bvt. Col. Vols.) is relieved from duty as Superintendent Central Dist. N.C. and assigned to duty as Superintendent B.R.F. & A.L. Eastern Dist. N.C. relieving Bvt. Maj. [[underlined]] F.A.Seely, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. He will at once proceed to New Bern and enter upon the discharge of his duties. V. 2" Lieut. [[underlined]] A. W. McKillip, [[/underlined]] V.R.C. will at once report for duty to Bvt. Col. [[underlined]] A. G. Brady, [[/underlined]] Supt. East. Dist. N.C. B.R.F. & A.L. at New Bern. VII. 1" Lieut. [[underlined]] Andrew Coats, [[/underlined]] V.R.C. is relieved from duty in the B.R.F. & A.L. East. Dist. N.C. and will at once proceed to Wilmington N.C. and report for duty to Bvt. Col. [[underlined]] Allan Rutherford, [[/underlined]] Supt. B.R.F. & A.L. Southern Dist. N.C. The Q.M. Dept. will furnish necessary transportation. VIII. Until further orders, officers and agents of the B.R.F. & A.L. in the Central Dist. N.C. will send such reports as have heretofore been sent to the Superintendents officer, direct to these Hd. Qrs. D. McApline, [[/underlined]] V.R.C. having reported for assignment in accordance with S.O. 69, Par. 2, War Dept. B.R.F. & A.L. is assigned to duty as Asst. Supt. Sub Dist. of Franklinton, B.R.F. & A.L. He will proceed at once to Franklinton N.C. and report to Capt. [[underlined]] Thos. H. Hay, [[/underlined]] V.R.C. The Q.M. Dept. will furnish necessary transportation. II. Lieut. Col. [[underlined]] Stephen Moore, [[/underlined]] V.R.C. having reported for assignment in accordance with S.O. 69, Par. 2, War Dept. B.R.F. & A.L. is assigned to duty as Supt. Dist. West. N.C. B.R.F. & A.L. office at Salisbury. He will at once proceed to Salisbury N.C. and enter upon the discharge of his duties. The Q.M. Dept. will furnish necessary transportation for Col. [[underlined]] Moore [[/underlined]] & servant. III. Lieut. Col. [[underlined]] Stephen Moore, [[/underlined]] Supt. B.R.F. & A.L. West. Dist. N.C. will visit wuch points within his District as he may deem necessary in the discharge of his duties. The Q.M. Dept. will furnish necessary transportation for Col. [[underlined]] Moore [[/underlined]] when traveling on business connected with the Bureau. IV. [[footnote 1]] Bvt. Maj. [[underlined]] H. D. Norton, [[/underlined]] U.S. Vols. is relieved from duty as Supt. Dist. West. N.C. and will proceed to Morganton and resume his duties as Asst. Supt. Sub Dist. of Morganton N.C. The Q.M. Dept. will furnish necessary transportation. [[footnote 1]] Certified copy forwarded A.A.A. Genl. April 15 1870 V. S.O. 67 Par. IV, of date May 26", 1866, is hereby revoked. Bvt. Col. [[underlined]] A. G. Brady, [[/underlined]] U.S. Vols. will remain at Raleigh as Supt. Central Dist. N.C. until further orders. VI. S.O. 67 Par. VII, of date May 26", 1866, is hereby revoked. Reports and Returns, in the Central Dist. will be forwarded to Bvt. Col. [[underlined]] A. G. Brady, [[/underlined]] as heretofore. VII. Capt. [[underlined]] D. H. Lentz, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Vols. Asst. Fincl. Agt. B.R.F. & A.L. will at once turn over all funds belonging to the B.R.F. & A.L. for which he is responsible, to Col. [[underlined]] M. C. Garber, [[/underlined]] Chf. Qr. Mr. and Disbursing Officer. He will also turnover to Capt. [[underlined]] Thos. P. Johnston, [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. Chf. Qr. Mr. B.R.F. & A.L. all buildings and lands for which he is responsible, and turn over to Lieut. Col. [[underlined]] Stephen Moore, [[/underlined]] Supt. B.R.F. & A.L. Dist. W. N.C. all stores kept on hand within that District for issue to destitute freedmen. VIII. Leave of absence is hereby granted the following named officer for the number of days, and for the reasons set opposite his name. Capt. [[underlined]] Geo. C. Almy [[/underlined]] C.S.
