Dear Mrs. Natanson: I acknowledge receipt of your kind lines of January 23rd and I am sorry to say that we have been unable to sell your ^[[pencilled line underneath part of text]] Seurat drawing at our [[/pencilled line]] exhibition. It has therefore been returned to Paris about three weeks ago, and should be in your hands by the time you receive this letter.
