[[preprinted]] Terminal Cleaning Contractors, Inc. 130 WEST 42nd STREET NEW YORK 36, N. Y. Telephone BRyant 9-3642 Office Cleaning Window Cleaning Floor Waxing Carpet Cleaning [[3 images: in light grey print, boxed silhouettes of man working, window cleaner, and maid dusting]] [[/preprinted]] November 13, 1959 Jacques Seligmann & Co. 5 East 57th Street New York, New York Gentlemen: The recently concluded agreement with the Window Cleaners Union, which commenced October 19, 1959, has made it possible for us to stabilize the cost of window cleaning for the next 3 1/2 years. The additional cost to us, represented by increased wages, welfare and pension benefits, payroll taxes and insurance, amounts to about 20%. We are reluctantly compelled, therefore, to request an increase of $1.00 over our present contract price, effective November 1, 1959. We are sure that you recognize the validity of our request. We value very highly the business and pleasant relations we have enjoyed with you; and it is our sincere desire to continue to serve you and merit your patronage. Very truly yours, TERMINAL CLEANING CONTRACTORS, INC. By ^[[Murray Rosenblatt]] [[margin]] ^[[Windowcleaners]] ^[[Terminal Cleaning]] [[/margin]]
