Sutton (Kappa), Miss JoAnn Ransom, official registrar of Career Days (Zeta) and Murray Cohen, Principal of Louis D. Brandeis High School. [[/caption]] 1500 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN 5th ANNUAL CAREERS DAY CONFERENCE SPONSORED BY NEW YORK PAN HELLENIC COUNCIL. The pictures on these two pages represent five years of planning and execution by the 37 metropolitan Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. The pictures say that Reuben Celestine of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Mel Patrick, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Alvin Wilks, Alpha Phi Alpha, Mary Redd, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, were the Committee charged to organize and sponsor the 5th Annual Careers Day in which Manhattan Borough President Percy E. Sutton, a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, invited the Board of Education of New York to promote what is now an annual event sponsored by the Pan Hellenic Society, the Board of Education and the Louis D. Brandeis High School. The conference was broken down into 27 courses of studies and highlighted college information for students college-bound.
