The campus segments are part of a three-hour television special which will air in major cities on selected dates throughout 1980. Fifteen minutes of each hour are devoted to local fund-raising appeals. Above, Lou on the campus of Spelman College in Atlanta speaks with Avis Bynum, a biology major from New York City whose mother and grandmother attended the UNCF supported women's school. Below: Bernard Singleton, a senior at Dillard University in New Orleans, explains to Lou an aspect of his lab research which he intends to apply as a veterinarian. Production of the campus filming, as well as taping of the entertainment portion of "The Lou Rawls Parade of Stars" was underwritten by a grant from Anheuser-Busch. 9
