David Johnson lst officer our S/S Atlantic Sun, bound from Philadelphia towards Liverpool. Sunk by a submarine on the 18th of March 1918 in the North Atlantic position: Latitude 55˚57' N. Longitude 7˚- 8' W. - was made prisoner and kept prisoner 22 days on the "U' boat. On arrival in Germany was brought to a prisoners camp at Brandenburg, later to Villingen Baden. Home address: Neptune Association 15 Whitehall St. New York. [[image 1]] Thomas B. Kern, M.D. 1st Lieut. M.O.R.C. U.S. Army Bethlehem, Pennsylvania U.S.A att. 1st North Staffordshire Regiment B.E.F.
