[[underlined]] ACTING AS AGENTS FOR THE ESTATE OF CLARENCE H. MACKAY [[/underlined]] October 2nd, 1941 Dear Baron Cassel: I take the greatest pleasure in letting you know that your offer of $3,000. for the two pair of sconces by Roccatagliata from the Clarence H. Mackay Collection, has been accepted by the Trustees. Accordingly I am enclosing an invoice covering your purchase, and in this connection will you please be good enough to make your check payable to the "Estate of Clarence H. Mackay". Also when you send us the payment, will you kindly return the enclosed in-voice so that we may have it receipted by the Estate, after which it will be mailed back to you. Do give me the pleasure of your visit in the near future as I should so much enjoy seeing you again and showing you several pictures that you haven't seen yet. In the meanwhile, please remember me to Baronne Cassel, and Believe me to be Very sincerely yours, (Georges E. Seligmann) Enc. P.S. Would you like us to deliver the items to Ventnor, or do you want them delivered to New York, in which later case we would have to bill you with 2% New York City Sales Tax, or $60. Baron Cassel van Doorn Oxford House 115 South Oxford Avenue Ventnor, New Jersey ^[[GS]]
