Bureau Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, Headquarters Ass't Commissioner, District Columbia, Washington, March 17th 1866. Captain Brown A. Q. M. Captain, Please place the name of R. D. Beckley, on your roll for service, in connection with the employment office, in this city, for one month from 19th inst. at rate of ($40) Forty dollars per month. Very Respectfully Wm W. Rogers Maj. & A.A.A.G.
