Comr directs to have an estimate of the fires needed at "Colored Orphans Home" during the summer months forwarded L B. V. 1, 199. Hd. Qrs. Ass't Com'r D.C. * Received Back May 21 1868 * Bureau R. F. & A. L. Bureau R. F. & A. L. Office Surg. in Chief D.C. Washington May 21st 1868 Respectfully returned to the A.A.A. Genl, D.C. with the remark that in my opinion Three (3) tons pr summer month would be sufficient to supply the wants of the Colored Orphans Home. Robert Reyburn Surg. in Chief D.C. Vol. 1 #199 A #345. 1868. Bureau Refugees, Freedmen,& Abandoned Lands, Head-Quarters Asst. Commr., D.C, WASHINGTON. MAY 22 1868 Respectfully referred to Maj. J.M.
