Well, I hope (?) Dad has recovered from his cold by now--although he seemed to enjoy it so much. [[strikethrough]] He is [[/strikethrough]] You are getting [[strikethrough]] his [[/strikethrough]] your income papers off very early this year aren't you, Dad? There is no need to go to symphonies around here - simply trot downstairs to Jean's room: I have now heard Beethoven's concerto no. 5 - The Emperor Concerto--twice & love it. Also today she played all of Prince Egor Suite by Boradine. We just lie about and listen. Baked beans, cod cakes, slaw & brownbread for lunch on Friday! But good. Got a letter from Charlie who wrote the day he got my letter(!)--he flunked 1st two of his exams, rose in rest--terrified at first, he said. But I guess he'll pull out--made careless errors. Also one from Mrs. Barry, so sweet, just after I had handed my comp in.: she missed me so & had I found the little pin she stuck in the X-mas package? Well, again, I must off. Please don't expect a Monday letter. Love, Doris P.S.
