By way of introduction, Terry Brandhorst (DIST COMT[[?]]) is the head of science for CCISD and he was the focal point to involve a CCISD teacher in KIDSAT during the first KIDSAT mission. The CCISD school targeted to participate in this program is Creekside Intermediate School. Teacher Barbara Belek of Creekside has had some involvement in the curriculum area (I believe) and definitely participated onsite during the last mission. Mike Wiskerchen is the director of the California Space Grant Consortium at the University of California, San Diego. UCSD is one of the principle partners in the KIDSAT effort and is undertaking the task to bring new schools online for the next KIDSAT mission. I have shared the equipment requirements with Terry for his review. I think it would be good to get a dialogue started about those equipment requirements between the right technical folks. We can accomplish this through email messages or by phone. Mike, I will look to you to let us know the best way to proceed from your end since you are working with a number of schools. I'll look forward to hearing from both of you. [[box]]Printed for wiskerchen@eureka.ucsd.edu []1[][[/box]]
