The Bishop's School 7606 La Jolla Boulevard La Jolla, California 92037 (619) 459-4021 Office of the Headmaster May 30, 1995 Ms. Lynn Kenney California Space Institute UCSD 9900 Gilam Drive La Jolla, CA 92092-0221 Dear Ms. Kenney: It is my understanding that Sally Ride's office at UCSD provides an opportuity for students to work on cataloguing and labeling photographs taken by astronauts during their trips in space. Danielle Hitchin, one of our students, would like to be considered for such a position. While I am the headmaster of The Bishop's School, I also teach American Political Science, an elective, to sophomores and seniors. Danielle Hitchin has been a student in that class this semester. She is a remarkably conscientious and intelligent young woman, very curious about world events and an excellent student. Danielle can best be described as a very responsible young woman, who has challenged herself with some of our more difficult classes and excelled. I have no hesitancy in endorsing her candidacy, for I know she will do a top notch job for you. Sincerely, [[signed]] Michael W. Teitelman Headmaster
