Summary of teacher comments regarding the lessons: -they were great, very useful, user friendly...... -had to prioritize- didn't use everything! -targetting chapter very important! -Ch. 8 great, getting copies of the pictures was great! -how to set up smoc- needs to come first -liked the intro -the web chapter was important -soda can activity was good -the map activities used inches, but they need to teach in centimeters -would like more slider maps -some answers were off, the slider map was off -need better training on how to use the JPL data system and what to do with the images (would like a hard copy) -need an easier way to access the images on the JPL data system (i.e. a categorization system so you know what you are looking at a picture of) -tennis ball activity good -camera chapter very important (i.e. footprint of the camera) -students liked using the slider map -one teacher commented he would like the images enhanced, so when they download them, they are of better quality -one teacher presented some of our lessons at a state and national meeting- she says our lessons are great and many of them can stand alone (i.e. ch. 8, the map lessons...) -one school suggested the following cd rom- The Space Shuttle by Toolworks
