BLAINE Treasurer DANIEL P. ADAMS Assistant Treasurer G.L. McCOY Comptroller A.A. MUELLER Assistant Comptroller April 14, 1942 Dear Yaching: The following wire was sent to you today, MR. FLETCHER SAYS NOT TO ACCEPT ANY ENGAGEMENTS EIGHTEENTH NINETEENTH STOP NEED REST BEFORE BOSTON AND EASTERN ENGAGEMENTS. This was sent to you so that you could show it to Mr. Brady or anyone else who might ask you to stay on in or around Chicago. You have been going pretty steadily and will no doubt want to have a little rest before going to Boston. The Boston date on April 21st is a very important one. We shall have further news for you on it later. I should suggest that you go up to Boston on the 20th so that you will be there a day early and have some time to rest before the meeting. However, you do as you please on that. You are scheduled for Burlington, Vermont, for April 23rd, and there may be some additional meetings in Boston on the 22nd. We sincerely hope that things have been going well with you, and that you have been enjoying yourself - also that your trip has not been too strenuous. Please let us know when you will be returning to New York. We will be looking forward to seeing you. Very sincerely, Marian Marian Cadwallader Director Speakers and Entertainment Department MC:emb Miss Lee Yaching c/o Mr. M.N.
