ALBERT B. ASHFORTH INCORPORATED 12 EAST 44TH STREET NEW YORK 17, N.Y. TELEPHONE MURRAY HILL 2-1100 Residential Department September 21, 1944 Dear Mr. Lee Ya: We would like to acquaint you with the service of this department in helping you sublet your apartment, either furnished or unfurnished. Whether you desire to rent your apartment for a short time or for the remainder of your term, we can probably obtain a suitable tenant for you without any preliminary effort or expense on your part. For almost half a century, Albert B. Ashforth has maintained a unique position in the apartment renting field because of the character of its clientele. Hence, in listing your apartment with us, you may place full confidence in our ability promptly to obtain a desirable tenant from amongst our interested customers. The enclosed form makes it simple for you to place your listing with us. In filling it out, you incur no obligation whatever unless we provide a satisfactory tenant. Very sincerely yours, [[signed]] Robert Wagner [[/signed]] Vice-President Residential Department P.S. This service may prove helpful to a friend. If so, you might let us know...or pass along the enclosed form.
