an extremely interesting lot of birds among which the following are the best except a female sistriouicus torguatus, #1302 =Una (columba?) in a mottled plumage. L. 13 sp of W. 22 1/2 in. Bill dark brown with a light fleshy tinted streak on top of culmen over nostrils. Feet & legs dirty flesh color. Iris hazel. Also a second specimen of the new Aphriza virgata before mentioned in a less mature plumage (no 1304) L. 9 1/4 in sp. W 21 in. Iris hazel. Feet & legs dirty gamboge yellow. Bill black fading to dingy yellowish at base. Inside of gape yellowish. A juv. Xena sabuii #1306 L. 13 by 32 1/4 in. Iris hazel. Bill above dark bluish tone, flesh colored horn aloud gape and base of lower mandible Feet & legs dull livid flesh color. #1305 [[Heleroscetus incouses?]] L. 11 1/2 X 21 1/2 in. Iris hazel.
