Notes on Transcribing this page (optional)
- Dewey Spofford lived on Lincoln St. in the 1920s, according to Census. Layelah Spofford was his sister, older than Dewey. They were from Maine. Layelah married Lawrence Bennett in 1916. Was in Boothbay Harbor, ME on the 1930 US Census. That may be what Pa means by they came from the Harbor. - A Dr Glennon lived on Pearl St. in Stoughton. Didn't see any other physician with a "G" as first letter of last name in Stoughton. - Wasn't the good doctor on Porter St in Canton? Looks like a D in the name = Goldner? Geldner? Gelden? NB: This is 1918 or 1920
