Office of County Judge Lavaca County July 11th 1869 To Rev Joseph Welch Supt. Schools Austin Texas Sir I take pleasure in citifying that Miss. Isabella Shaw as teacher of school for Freed Children, at this place for the last ten months, has given intire satisfaction, and that by strict attention to business, kind disposition, and uniformly good deportment, she has endeared herself to the Patrons, and students of her school as will as all others with whoom she has become acquainted, all of whoom are anxious for her continuance as teacher at this place. If agreeable to her, we respectfully ask of you, that she may be again assigned to duty at this place Very Respectfully Your Obt Sevt AK Foster [[?]] of CCLS
