186 August 4th Brvt. Major A.W. Wills Asst. Quarter Master Nashville Tenn. Major: I am directed by Brig. Genl. C.B. Fisk to inform you that the Colored people of this City desire to hold a Pair here to last three or four days and want to obtain some building suitable for the purpose. They name the following, which the General will consider as a personal favor if you can consistently permit him to use one of them for the purpose above named. House Cor.
