Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, Office Chief Disbursing Officer State of North Carolina, Raleigh, N.C., February 8th, 1867. Colonel: I forward to your address, per Express, this day, Two hundred and sixty-six 43/100 dollars; in payment of vouchers, as per statement enclosed therewith. There are no vouchers from the Southern District remaining unpaid in this office. I have forwarded to our office, funds for all accounts of Justin Hodges, which were, in some instances, receipted for by Lieut E.H. McQuigg. Very respectfully, Your obdt servt Tho's. P.
