Miss Wong Heard By Film Group The Japanese who think they're going to keep China are wrong, Miss Anna May Wong, movie actress, one of the guest speakers at the New Orleans Better Films chapter luncheon yesterday, said firmly. Other guests at the luncheon, held at the St. Charles hotel, were Miss Merle Oberon, Miss Lee Ya Chin, Chinese flier, and Mrs. Gung Hsing Wang, wife of the Chinese vice-consul here. Mrs. F. I. Williams was re-elected president of the group. Other officers chosen, at the annual meeting which followed the luncheon, were Mrs. F. Gordon Eberle and Mrs. Luther D. Ott, honorary presidents; Mrs. John M. Farell, first vice-president; Mrs. Henry Levy, second vice-president; Mrs. Max U. Bernard, third vice-president; Mrs. Heda Kock von Meysenbug, fourth vice-president; Mrs. L. D. Ott, corresponding secretary; Mrs. L. A. Zollinger, recording secretary; Mrs. Harry Eckhardt, financial secretary; Mrs. N. E. Kerth, treasurer; Mrs. F. Gordon Eberle, publicity secretary; Mrs. Judith Hyams Douglas, parliamentarian; Mrs. Lillian Dizell, registrar and Mrs. Gayle Schneidau, historian. Mrs. George Bywater urged the women to buy defense bonds. A demonstration of the proper use of the vote machine was given.
