"Women's Day" on Tuesday will be marked by a luncheon given by Mrs. _________ chairman of the women's committee, as a tribute to Madame Chiang Kai-shek's inspired leadership of China's women. A fashion show is being staged at ___________ department store on this day, while leading merchants will feature displays of Chinese merchandise in their windows. Wednesday will be celebrated as "Children's Day", when the winners of the essay contest sponsored among the city's school children on the subject of China will be announced. A joint luncheon of the Rotary, Kiwanis and the Lion's Clubs, at which the past, present and future of trade with China will be the subject under discussion, will highlight "China Trade Day" on Thursday. "Mercy Day" on Friday will be featured by broadcasts by prominent doctors and surgeons describing the medical relief work being accomplished in China with American funds, and the increased needs for medicine and surgical equipment there as the fury of the Pacific battle increases. Saturday, "Festival Day", will bring the week's celebration to a close with a colorful Chinese-American parade through the business section. At noon hundreds of children will participate in a kite-flying contest held under the auspices of United China Relief and_______________________ in ____________________Park. ****
